Amenities:

Residents find themselves lingering after meals to chat with friends in the appealing atmosphere of each of the dining rooms. They also find life convenient and stimulating at St. John’s. While making themselves at home, residents can take advantage of a variety of amenities.

• Transportation to and from local medical appointments.
• Two vans both with wheelchair lifts, and an 18-passenger bus for special outings including Reno, malls, rides around town, picnics and other events.

• Every other Monday is Holy Rosary Mass at 10 am.
• Every Sunday is St. Leonard's Mass at 10 a.m.
• Every Sunday is St. John's Worship at 1:15 p.m.
• Beauty and Barber: Open Thrusdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Fridays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. Call 383-7984.

Dining

Residents are offered a choice of two entrees with a salad bar and dessert. A food committee of staff and residents meet regularly with the dietary staff to discuss menus and food quality. In addition to the three square meals each day there are Sunday brunches - a great favorite of residents and their invited families alike.

Snacks are available throughout the day and tray service is available to those who may not feel like coming to the dining room.

Activities

Something is happening everyday from piano music and gospel singer performances to special day outings for picnics, BBQ’s and baseball games. See CAMPUS for more information on activities.
