Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
We are now hiring for a CNA position in our 48 bed skilled nursing facility.
Essential functions:
- Use equipment and supplies in a safe manner and maintain them properly.
- Perform resident care in accordance with facility policies.
- Document all care given accurately and completely in the resident’s medical record using current standard of practice.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisor.
- Follow infection control policies and procedures.
- Attend in-service training programs as related to this position.
- Follow Resident’s Rights and confidentiality policies at all times.
- Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
- Assume accountability for and adhere to information contained in the Employee Handbook.
- Work cooperatively with residents, resident’s representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants, and other service providers.
- Perform other related duties as directed by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must pass a drug screen and criminal background clearance.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing using sufficient English to be understood by the residents and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Must have a current California Nursing Assistant Certificate.

Caregiver Positions
Our residential care for the elderly facility is looking for experienced caregivers to assist our residents. This person must be kind, compassionate, someone who cares about their career and loves what they do.
Applicants must be able to pass a DOJ criminal background clearance, a drug screen, Social Security verification and reference checks.
Since our residents have important safety and healthcare communication needs we are looking for someone who is fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.
Experience in assisting in the care of the elderly including their personal care is needed. Experience with the special care of those with Dementia would be a great asset.
Currently we are hiring for part time 4:30pm to 8:30 pm shift, on-call caregiver and on-call housekeeping positions.
